Ian first uses the ability in a fight defending a friend at school
Preflex is the ability to see things before they happen, and react more quickly than others. It is not a called upon ability, meaning it happens when it happens. Ian and Jeremy are the only two people who have been seen so far with this ability.
Ian uses this ability a lot of times, mostly when he is physically fighting someone. In "New Kid" Ian is able to dodge the blows his foe is lashing at him because he can see them coming with his ability a second before it happens. Other times though, the ability calls upon itself when it senses people nearby (Tunnel Man).
